It appears that the company Smart Tech inc are recalling the 2008 line of Smart Boards. This comes after a McFarland teacher's Smart Board ran out of ink. "What is happening guys?" the teacher asked in search of answers, sadly her 11th grade economic class came up empty handed. After a 10 point inspection of all the wiring connecting the Smart Board to projector and the computer it was determined that the red marker had run out of ink. Back at Smart Board central in Canada engineers searched for answers till they came upon a conclusion. They concluded that this Smart Board had not been properly manufactured, days later calls came pouring in that Smart Boards around the world have in fact been running out of ink. Nancy Knowlton (CEO) gave this statement concerning this issue "Here at Smart Technologies we are all about customer satisfaction and will be now recalling all Smart Boards until which time this problem is solved. To the students of the world I am offering my remource and compassion to your loss of a great learning tool, and I promise to do everything in my power to get this problem resolved quickly and quitely."
