7000
Hey I found 7000 votes...NOT because I'm not a crook. Anyhow there was an earthquake in Japan, yes there is radiation, but we forget that Japan has oceans surrounding it that are some of the most complex oceans that are in the world. We need to remember that our oceans are one of the most important parts of our ecosystem and we should turn part of our attention to cleaning up what this quake did to the oceans in Japan.

Cups
Cups are the foundation of our world today, we all rely on they to drink out of and we realize that the "water bottle" is simply a cup that is closed with a spout. Cups are the best thing to drink water out of, there are many varieties of cups for each of us to find our "cup of tea" so I assure you at some point today you will use a cup.

Boats
The thought that comes to my mind today is why we do things. Really do we do things because we enjoy them or is it because we are told they will bring great joy, but do they really bring everlasting happiness. Two men wandered down the river in two different boats one crashed, one went over a waterfall both men survived which one was successful?

Michael Jordan
Michael Jordan was a basketball player, turned baseball player, back to basketball player, now Mr. Jordan is now a clothing and shoe designer. A man who once was every young basketball stars idol is now the idol of "urban youth" across the United States, with an army clothed with his logo on their chest. Our youth have been brain washed into believing that an "idol" will gain them acceptance, a person they have never meet a person that hides behind the windows of his house producing clothing and shoes for our youth. For all we know he could be raising an army, unbeknown to the general population. The second problem with this clothing line is that it is worn for all the wrong reasons, by all the wrong people. I am all for finding one's self but to wear "Jordan" to be "cool" is not finding one's self it is simply conforming to what is generally accepted, it is forming an opinion as to who you are. What you stand for, what you want to be, and if you want to be a member of the "urban youth," then long live Mr. Jordan.

Boston
I have spent the last four day in Boston Massachutes, mainly around the MIT campus visiting my sister. Some observations of the city: the T is awesome, MIT students are very smart, and construction is prevelant. I think all three things in said list are great things that the rest of the country should take note of. First the T, this is a span of weaving tunnels under the city of Boston that can take you within walking distance of anything you want to see for a small fare of two dollar, beats paying for gas and is much more efficient. Second MIT students are smart, this speaks for itself, everyone can learn something from them. Third construction is prevelant, this is a paradox because it does present a fair amount of problems for commuters trying to get from point a to b; however, it also brings a nice noise to the city giving it the feel of ever changing. This is a great "feel" for a city to have because with changes always being made questions are always being asked as to what is going on, which in turn makes citizens more involved in their city and political system. Boston is a great city to visit while on spring break.

Oranges

Oranges are a wonderous fruit! I have eaten an orange for 32 consecitive days, and enjoyed each and everyone. The story behind the orange is as follows. On a fine day of Multicultural Literature - The Impact of War, Sir Mark O'Malley had an orange, low and behold I also had an orange thus started a ritual of eating an orange each and everyday of the class. The end of the quater approaches, one may ask "Will you continue eating an orange each and everyday?" the answer is unclear at this point, for as long as the wind blows the weather will change.

The situation in Madison is dire...Walker has made bold moves toward busting unions and has lied to the general population of Wisconsin. Its quite sad what he has done. Today the University of Wisconsin-Madison will notify me with their admissions decision. If i am bared admission I will attend the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse for a year and then transfer to the UW Madison. Either way I will get an education. The picture that describes this day is:
